About Michael

Hi.

My name is Michael Hurn. I was born in 1992 in Syracuse, NY and that is where I am currently based.

Photography has been my passion for as long as I can remember, and for the last 5 years I have been working as a portrait, wedding, and boudoir photographer.

To me, photography is about telling a story. What story I’m telling depends on the natural light I am given, the colors I can incorporate, and the unique people who share their story with me. The most recurring story, or oftentimes feeling, I am trying to portray is freedom. Freedom and happiness in your own skin, and who we are as individuals.

I hope to continue to grow and learn as an artist, and share even more stories with the world.
